Gina Alusi is a Tulsa-based mixed-media artist and the founder of Creex Art, creating from her studio/gallery in the Tulsa Arts District. Originally from Colombia, Gina moved to the United States approximately ten years ago and has spent the last four years devoted creative practice rooted in exploration, texture, and emotional storytelling.

Working at the intersection of abstract and realism, Gina is known for energetic, layered compositions that often feature women, animals, and feelings—subjects she returns to as symbols of love, kindness, strength, and empowerment. Her process is intentionally experimental: she continually learns new techniques and combines materials and methods to create depth and movement, producing work that feels both bold and intimate.

Through originals, commissions, releases, and community-facing offerings, Gina aims to create art that connects quickly and stays with people—work that invites reflection while still feeling uplifting. On her studio site, she describes her guiding intention as evoking happiness, freedom, and inspiration in those who engage with her artwork.

As a BOSArts Board Member, Gina brings an artist-first perspective shaped by both professional practice and real engagement with the local creative community—supporting the mission to grow opportunity, visibility, and momentum for working artists in Tulsa and beyond.
