Visual Artist Grant
The Visual Artist Grant exists to support artists at meaningful moments in their creative journey—when an idea is ready to grow, a body of work is ready to be shared, or new opportunities are within reach but resources are limited.
Artists often face barriers to funding that can slow momentum or limit possibility. BOSArts was created to help remove those barriers by offering grants specifically designed to support artistic development, creative expansion, and professional growth.
These grants are made possible through partnerships with local and regional businesses. When businesses advertise through Digital To Print Marketing, LLC, a preferred partner of Frintz®
, a portion of those advertising dollars is directed into the BOSArts Grant Fund—transforming everyday marketing into direct support for the arts.

We envision a future where visual artists have greater access to the resources they need to grow and sustain their creative practice. A future where businesses actively participate in building creative culture, and where the arts are strengthened through collaboration, transparency, and shared purpose.
BOSArts is building a sustainable funding model that supports artists from the inside out—one that honors creative talent, values integrity, and expands opportunity with every new participating business.

Artist-Led Governance
The Visual Artist Grant is overseen by a ten-member board, including nine voting visual artists and one founder.
The voting board members are working artists selected to represent a wide range of styles, perspectives, and lived experiences. Their role is to review applications, award grants, and ensure decisions remain grounded in artistic understanding and community values.
Each board member is featured on the Board Members page with a headshot, short bio, and a dedicated profile that may include links to their websites, portfolios, and social media.
The founder serves as a non-voting board member, providing structure and continuity while ensuring that grant decisions remain fully artist-led.
As BOSArts expands to support musicians and indie filmmakers, additional boards will be formed—each independent, discipline-specific, and led by artists.
